Sentimental value

Featured Replies

Does anyone here keep any old baits around simply for sentimental value?  if :) so what are they?

How 'bout rods and reels?

:) i keep a already used up pocket fishing log, i think it is fun to have around especially when my record bass (lbs7.1oz) was caught and recorded on there.

Heddon Deep Dive River Runt, Arbogast Hustler, couple of Beno Eels, old Bomber (the one that looks like a Mudbug) and assorted rods and reels. Just can't throw anything away, even though I never use it. The lures range from 25-35 years old, so it's not like I've got any antiques.

You know it's a funny thing...can't find to many pictures of ex- girlfriends anymore for some reson but those old bombers & rebel's keep com'in up  ::) how about some of your father's passed down stuff?

Keep an eye out for an interesting piece of driftwood, especially a cedar root. Use this to display your old lures.

roadwarrior thats pretty cool, but when my grandpa comby died we inhereted alot of his stuff rebels, rapalas, old johnson spincasters and all sorts of plastics.

When my grandfather passed on. I took out and fished with every bait he left me, till I llost them all but one. That one I'll keep till I die but for the rest of the baits I know he was with me!!!

Those baits got me a littlle extra time with him.
