New Camo Rods for fishing or hunting

Featured Replies

What does anyone think about the best of show at Icast this year: Camo rods in Mossy Oak and Duckblind? Is this interesting or just a fad?

Just something to catch the consumers eye/wallet.

just dont drop the rod in brush.  You'll never find it again.  ;D

If you're a red-neck , you'll probably want one.

I've held them. They look good, but they feel heavy, and the actions feel deadened.

I thought the same thing when I saw them at ICAST. So I sat down with the designer/builder and picked his brain. I tell you what, he knows his stuff. He used to build rods for a major bass rod company and he has branched off to build a more affordable rod that appeals to the new angler. The actions are spot on and their sensitivity is comparable to the old style All-Stars. I liked them.
