I got out to use my 7' HF Lowrider XG today, and it's a lot more flimsy than I thought it would be. It's really sensitive though.

Anyways, can you use PowerPro on these rods?

    You can use superlines with any rod.

    as long as the guides can take it. That is a problem with older rods and rods with low quality guides, the braided line can groove them purty fast.

    IF THEY ARE AT LEAST FUJI HARDLOYS THE ANSWER WOULD BE YES.I WOULD GO WITH A BETTER BRAID SUCH AS FIRELINE BRAID OR DIAWA SAMURAI.oops,sorry on the caps lock.anyway powerpro is extremely rough and noisey compared to the other 2 lines.

    I own alot of Lowriders and I use Power Pro on most of them and never had a problem with the line wearing a groove into the guides.
