Im looking for a new freshwater rod reel set up. I prefer a spinning reel over bait caster. Needs to be from bass pro because i have gift cards thanks in advance

Personally I would get the Carbonlite/Sahara combo.

You will have money left over for other goodies as well.

Go to BPS and ask to see the clearance stuff. Tell 'em what you are after. Most likely someone there will know just what the hot deals are. I just did the same and was shocked at what I came away with. You will likely end up with a chunk of spare change to ... take your wife out :.

x2 The president is a awsome reel. Also for cheaper you can get the Pflueger Trion GX-7. I just orderd one and have heard a lot of good things about them.
