Shimano GT 2000

I have access to a couple of the older model Shimano Bantam Magnumlite GT 2000 reels that are in great shape and was wondering what you guys might think they are worth.

I'm not posting this in the flea market because they aren't for sale, yet. I'm just looking for what a reasonable price would be.

They are about 20 years old.

They are worth sentimental value only there are no parts available for them.

They look good on a shelf, but would NOT hold up to today's style's of fishing.

Tight Lines!!!

Thank you Dave.  My uncle has a few of them he wanted to sell and upgrade to modern reels.

Had one I bought about 20 yrs ago.  I used it very little (quit fishing for a while).  Last year I pulled it out, cleaned it well and lubed.  It would cast a mile and felt great; however, I had a day on the lake where I caught over 20 small spotted bass.  The reel was toast.  The gears wouldn't hold up.  I tried it one more time at Guntersville.  I pulled in a 3 lb fish and it seized up.

Yea, he and I have a couple of these reels.  His are 9/10 while mine is 7.5/10.  He just started using his again recently while mine was retired many years ago.
