I am trying to find some type of cleaning product that is safe to use to clean the cork handles on my rods.

    I agree! The Magic Eraser is great on cleaning cork. Wish I could buy them in bulk!  ;)

    Mr. Clean Magic Eraser absolutely astounded me when I used it the first time.  The cork looked brand new with so little effort.  Until that time I'd used a toothbrush with a cleaner.  Never again.
