Question for everyone - Do you think you might enjoy seeing rods being built and in various stages of construction?

Question for builders - Would you be willing to post pics of disasters? Your most-proud-of or your newest project?

Question for Admin - if this post gets a lot of attention, would it warrant a new Topic? My thinking is... although there are many great sites dedicated soley to rod-building, so many people use this great place that more might get interested in rod-building if we could take the Math out of it. Let the other sites handle the hardcore. They are probably already there. ;D

That's Gudebrod A in Gunmetal laid down as an underwrap for a butt wrap that will be Royal Blue and Steel Blue. Both metallic. Open pattern so the Gunmetal shows through.

Is there any interest in this?

I for one would love to see various rods in the different stages of being built.

I believe in the best of section there is an article on every step of a custom rod in production, been there for years..... 8-)

As David said, we already have the section and

it is usually very active. Right now there seems

to be more posts involving lures, but that changes

from day to day.

Who cares of any posts that have been up for years. 

The evolution of rod building is in constant motion.  While I don't think we need a new forum, I would love to see new pics  of any builds, mess ups, ideas, etc...

We have had "the section" for years.

New builds are posted all the time.
