I have a few SX's, and I've used my friend's STX, and I like the SX more. I really like my new SX with the swept handle.

I got an STX and love it, its very smooth!

what is it for ?? i have been using my Inshore and i'll tell you it is a sweet reel , it is made for inshore/ salt water fishing but it is built just like the stx but with centrifugal brakes (like the S , winch , skeet reese , toro ) i have two brakes set and just use the cast control for different weight baits . it has a ton of line capacity(12/175) , excellent if you are using 50 or 65 lb. braid , has the 24 lb. drag and even tho it only has 7 bearings , it feels just as smooth as my SX that has 11 . just wanted to throw this out there , give you another option . just don't think that this reel is just a saltwater reel , if no one told you , you wouldn't know http://www.tackletour.com/reviewabugarciarevoinshore.html

Premier.....this is my favorite reel, and I have two of them.  The STX is a nice reel, don't get me wrong, as I have one of  those also.  But I tend to grab my Premier alot more
