I've seen the light. I love braid.

i spooled up my abu cardinal 801 with 15/4 power pro and hated it. wind knots left and right. i wont even fish that setup anymore untill i get out and get some other line.

the few successful casts i made felt great though. i would like to try it on my baitcasters but im still doubting that its easier to pick out a backlash with braid than mono...

you don't pick it out.you push your thumb against the spool with the drag tight and reel against it.this reverses the loops.you then push the cast button and pull the line of until it binds again.you repeat until it comes out.braid is far easier to get a backlash out of using this method.i haven't had to cut one out in years.
