GLoomis help

Featured Replies

Guys (errrr gals), I purchased a broke GLoomis rod and replaced it. It's not a model I would use and now I have the oppurtunity to trade up. Here's the problem, I fish braid a majority of the time. I want a 7' ish GLX but don't know what model. I want it for jigs but don't want a pool cue. I currently use St. Croix's T/L in the teaser model and they are perfect for me. But they are used for small jigs and worms. I want a soft tip but yet enough butt to haul a fish out of cover. With that said, any hints on a model to choose. Thanks y'all.

I agree with the 843 for small jigs and plastics. I would look into an MBR844 if you want to throw 3/8-1/2oz. jigs and 1/4 oz., plus plastic, T rigs.

If I only had one rod...
