Revo SXor STX?

Featured Replies

I have a couple bids going on Ebay and it looks like for an extra $50 I can pick up an STX over an SX. Is the STX much of a upgrade over the SX?

Ive used both but you cant go wrong with either one.

But some prefer the stx over the sx, reason being the stx has the dual breaking system and is supposed help against backlashing. I dont know if it warrants the extra money though, they are both outstanding reels. But i would buy the sx and use the extra money to buy lures you dont need  ;D

Well worth the extra $50. Hands down.

x2, especially with the new dual braking system.

Definitely worth the extra $$$

At the BPS spring classic i was checking out both of them. the STX palmed in my hand a lot better, plus it has the dual braking. So I went with the STX, and Im very satisfied.

Freehold, eh?  I grew up in Manalapan.

You noticed a difference in palming between SX and STX?  Really?  I thought the shape/size were identical.

I have an STX and love it!  Having dual braking is a definitely a plus.
