Need Help with Reel Selection

LoL ;D

Why is that funny? It is a fine reel in the price range asked about. If you have a suggestion, make it; if not...

Some people feel that if it doesn't say Shimano or Daiwa (or possibly Revo) on the reel then it couldn't possibly be any good. Not a mind reader so I don't know why he is laughing. Just putting out one possible explanation. :)

Absolutely correct.

Daiwa & Shimano are the only reels any fairly serious fisherman should be looking at. Comparing a Pflueger to those 2 companies is just silly.

Excellent!  Some new zealot blood - let the Reel Wars commence.

I learned a long time ago if you argue with a fool, you're liable to act like one.  ::)

Geez...

Let's move on.

For the original poster: Look back through the last 20 or 30

pages of this section and you will find plenty of threads on

reel suggestions. This thread has just degenerated too far

to fix.

Good night Irene.
