It hurts now but as you already know they are worth every penny.

I use them too, but in smaller sizes for crankbaits and Silver Buddys. They are worth the cost.

Skimp on other things, but never on hooks.

It's one thing to buy all those hooks, it's another to take the time to replace the ones that need to be replaced.  Looks like you'll be busy.

I thought that was alot to spend on hooks but as I thought about it later, I relized that I had spent almost as much on jigs for  the 2008 tournament season.  

Better to have way to much than to run out during a tournament.
