Can't Decide Between 2 Rods

Featured Replies

Both the helium and carrot stix gold are on sale for the same price. I want another worm/jig rod. If anyone owns both or has tried them, I'd like to know which would be the better buy. I have until tomorrow to deicde between the 2. Replies appreciated!

Helium. Hands down.

Helium.

helium is a way better rod

carrot.......... ;)

helium for sure.my buddy has about everyone made and the do feel nice.

they dont seem to have as fast of an action as id like.

Helium. Hands down.

100%

Carrots are IMHO trash... they fish like a 60.00 rod... no crispness at all... at least the Kistler feels like a mid grade rod... you could aways find you a used Zillion rod at a good price and it beats both 10 fold.

I have a Carrot Stix Gold that I love and would probably choose it over the LTA in similar size any day.  I have the 6'10''MH and a buddy has the 6'9''MH LTA, the Carrot Stix is lighter, the handles longer, and I feel it's more sensitive.  It is, however, a little less powerful than the Kistler with a slightly whippy tip, makes it perfect for shallow cranks, jerkbaits, shakeyheads, and tubes.
