I might be picking up one more rod for t-rigs and jigs. For those of you that have one, which Cumara do you like for both texas rigs and jigs?  I'm stuck on deciding if I really want the 6'8" MHXF.  Hopefully one of you guys has it.

Also interested in this one...

Finally picked up a Curado but need a better rod...

Was thinking Dobyns or Shimano at this point.

hard to say without knowing more specifically what you will fish with the rod, but know that they fish stiffer than their rating. the medium is a very strong medium, and the mh fishes more like a h. i like mine though, and for the right price they are great rods. you can find them for less than retail.

repper hit it on the head, I too think they are a little stiffer than you may think.

That being said, I have a MH and H in the 7'2" in both.

I find myself using the MH more often, unless I'm fishing a 1oz jig, then that gets the H rod.

I have used my 6'8" MHXF with 3/16 - 7/16 oz jigs, and I really like it.  Light, sensitive, and has a stout backbone.  Prior to fishing it, I thought the rod was too stiff.  But after fishing it, the rod action felt just fine.  No issues getting the rod to load up during casts.  I have a Curado 201e7 mated to the rod.

I also have the rod in question.  Its great, just as much backbone as my St Croix LTB rods, but lighter.  I've gone as light as 3/16 oz on my T-rigs, and thrown swimbaits that were close to an ounce.  No problems.  My preferred rod for heavy cover situations.
