You may want a little less rod for throwing weightless worms and light jigs.  On the same page that you looked at the C-rig rod, they have a worm and jig rod that would probably fit the bill.  I'm not sure how sensitive those rods are going to be, being only IM6 though.  You want as much sensitivity as you can afford for a bottom contact rod.

Good rods, love the handles. Half cork half eva foam. Sucks that you have to spend $100 though. Here recently  academy stores had the "rod riot" and those rods were being sold for $69. But I would still pay $100 and be happy.

Too much rod

what are trigs?

trig = t rig = Texas rig

trig = t rig = Texas rig

Thanks.

I have enough trouble understanding the English language. I don't stand a chance with text message lingo   :)

yeah thats to much rod. guys IM6 rods can be sensivtive... of course not as much so as the really super high mod rods but take a Daiwa L&T worm/jig rod.. I had two of those years ago and they was/are a very sensitive rod IM6 rods that are built well will preform well... I assure you if you got a L&T worm and jig rod and put a good FC on it you will feel everything just fine.. its sensitive enough that you dont even need braid to really feel the bottom with it.. where you really loose feel in lower mod rods is when fishing mono... A good FC or Braid will make even crappy rods feel way better then they are.. take a L&T and put mono on it and you will still feel things fairly good.. Like take it vs a Vendetta and the vendetta is higher mod graphite and I BET the L&T is more sensitive will any type of line.. so dont just go by IM and MOD ratings... they dont really tell the truth lol.
