I just bought a abu garcia vendetta 6"8 mh/f,and I paired it with a  pflueger 3000. I haven't used it yet but it feels really balanced. Any thoughts on the gear?

What kind of pflueger

Its a president, spinning reel. I can't wait to use it.

I've seen a lot of people pair it with the Pflueger Supreme XT. Hope the President works well for you, it's always a solid choice.

I am a high end gear hound, but a friend gave me a President and it was surprising how it compared to much more expensive reels. You made a good choice, now get out there and whack some fish with this new outfit. Your opinion is the most important one. Enjoy!
