When did Shimano stop making the ch50mg and how much did it cost new?

    It was discontinued 2 years ago, MSRP $250.

    Too bad it wasn 't long lived, the Japenese version was available for almost twice the time.

    Yup, one of those DUHHHHH moments.

    I 'm on the same boat, should have purchased more, don 't regret any of my purchases, reels I purchased instead of the Chronarch but yes, I should have purchased at least another. Oh well, lesson not learned, I 'm still doing the same thing now.  ::(
