Happy New Year folks.

For those of you who use it, what color power pro do you use for inshore or fresh water?

I had yellow on my offshore rod with flourocarbon leader. do you think that will work inshore or should I change to moss green + flouro? (targeting Striped Bass inshore, LMB or smallies in fresh water w/ a spinning outfit)

How about for catfish? Will the line color make a difference to a cat? (conventional reel).

I use what color looks best on my reel to be honest  :

Although I use a leader so it doesn't matter, lol. You can probably use any color, just sharpie about the first few feet black.

Id say maybe one color for inshore, and one for cats etc  8-)

I use yellow for freshwater, with a fluoro leader. The fish don't seem to mind the color and it's easier for me to see.

I wouldn't worry about catfish... they can see well, but they have about 18x the "taste buds" of a largemouth and several other amazing senses so vision is really that big of a deal. I have seen plenty of guides using bright yellow braid for topwater strippers, and the fish don't seem to care. As long as your using a leader I wouldn't worry about it.... So in closing...I wouldn't worry about it.. use whatever color you want.

Moss green is hard to see if any of your techniques require "line watching".   Also PP bleeds over time so red can be bad for boat carpet.

High vis. yellow w/ a flouro leader or use a green sharpy and color the line for a couple ft. from the lure.

i have the green and i will get the yellow next time. green is very hard to see. its easier for me to see 6lb clear flouro...

I use white. Most people use a sharpie color of their choice anyway because of color fade.

   Any color is fine. They all bleed like no tomorrow and fade quickly. As quoted a black sharpie is really the key. Dont over do the sharpie, its best if its streaked, think camo. That breaks up the visability the best.

    I personally use Moss Green 100% of the time. I like the natrual apperance for flipping, frogging, ect. Its probably a confidence thing, but thats what I do.

yeah, like everyones said it doesnt seem to make a difference to me, just get whatever color you find is easier for knot tying
