Yo-Zuri

Featured Replies

For small and medium crankbaits on a baitcast setup, is regular Yo-Zuri or Ultra Soft best?

I use regular Yozuri in #6 and #8 for all my crank bait needs (baitcasters).

I use Ultra Soft for everything that isn't braid.

So for you guys that use regular instead of ultra soft on baitcasters - why?

  • Super User

Regular Hybrid is less visible in the larger diameters.

Also, coiling is not as big an issue on baitcasters.

I think you will find that Yo-Zuri Hybrid #12 is a

great fit. When you move to #15 and higher, the

line is much less manageable.
