sorry, "are pretty good"

When Dick's has a sale, you can pick up some awesome deals but with their system of stocking, lack of training for employees, and just a general lack of customer service.  They are slowly losing my business.  

If I am hunting for everyday fishing items, like hooks, sinkers, Rapala lures, line, Zoom, and GYCB Dicks has some good deals from time to time.  I just wish they would break away from the fashion of sports to a real sporting goods store.  My hope is that Indianapolis will someday get a good store that caters to the outdoorsman.  Until then, my local baitshop will do just fine.

I agree, having worked at Dick's, I have to say that the training for me was terrible. Luckily I went there in the first place because I was into fishing and wanted to work around fishing stuff so I knew a pretty good amount about the tackle and techniques. However, I went in knowing virtually nothing about guns and they were in the same department. I left knowing a very small amount more about guns and that was pretty much because of my researching stuff on my own.
