Guide info for Lake Fork

Featured Replies

I am taking a family trip to Fork in June.  I am looking to take a trip with a guide for the first time.  Hoping to learn a lot and maybe catch a few nice fish in the process.  I will be staying in the Alba area. Any recommendations for someone in that area would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Tom Redington  :)

x2. If it were me, he is the only one to go with. I have used him in the past and he is first class all the way. Don't settle for just anyone.

Tom Redington :)

My buddy used him last month for 3 days and he plans to use him again so he must be good.

JT Bagwell

Tom Redington if he is available.  Book as soon as you get your dates set.  John Tanner is one I wouldn't be afraid of either.

If your taking your boat a guy name Roy Greer is unique as he will get on your boat and guide for a little less money.

GO BIG RED

Roy Greer if you have your own boat. Fished with him in March in cold, windy, rainy conditions for as long as we both could stand it. Highly recommended. Fished with another guide while there who will remain nameless. I'll just say that not everyone with a fishing report on a website is a good guide. Tom Redington was booked while i was there.
