tablerock lake pics

Yeah it is crazy high.  We were down there 2 weeks ago. Big Cedar lodge has an upper and lower parking lot  and then the boat ramps drop off from there . We launched out of the middle of the upper parking lot.  Here is two pics looking at the same cabin . One at normal pool and  the other as it is now.

Wow...! Hey tkite16, how did you do while you were down there? I'm heading down next week for 5 days, assume the water will be just as high, although I guess the spawn will probably be in full swing for most fish.

Thanks,

Tom

WE did real good on spinnerbait ,but they are off that now and all the guides are swimming a grub and tearing them up.  We ran every day up to the dam area fishing Jakes creek and Indian point the water was alot clearer up there. I caught a 3lb spot off a kids swingset in thier back yard. If you've fished there before you'll be amayzed when you see it.

We stay at a place just across from Indian Point, right at the mouth of Little North Indian. So we fish up that way, also up North Indian and south toward Long Creek. I've read elsewhere that grubs are the ticket right now... hopefully next week, too!

WOW!! I am from Indiana so I don't get to fish the rock nearly as often as I would like, but I make at least one trip there every year. I have never seen the water up that high or that dirty. Looks more like the lakes around here.

Leaving for Big Cedar Saturday morning, should be on the lake that afternoon. Fish should be in any of the three stages of the spawn with most fish in the shallows. Fish should be bitting good as long as I can get the boat close shallow water. Should be an excellent year for the spawn as the fry have tons of cover to hide in!

Hoytman the biggest problem with the shallows is there are very few places you can get too. The treeline is at 10-15 foot deep and the bank is 35 feet back in the brush.  The were out on the outmost trees and bushes when we were there. hopefully some still will be there for ya.

We were down there last year in June. Looks a whole lot different than it did then.

I spent all last week fishing Table Rock prefishing for the McDonald's House tournament that was postponed due to the weather and highwater.  :'( :'(

Anyways We had a great day last Sat fishing in the heavy wind with a CCR-lizards &Baby brush Hogs, I fish mostly above the Kings River in Eagle Rock Area. Most of the week we had been catching 5 or 6 keepers (15 inch) a day on Spinnerbaits and jigs close to the bank over bushes below the water. We tried from Kim City to the Dam, North Indain twiced but just had a few, Lots of small spots on a slip-shot rigged Fish Dr.

Shoot me a PM if you need any more info.    Good Luck
