How do you fish this lure??

Tough question, because bass don't always want the same thing.

I'll usually start with a Twitch - 10-15 sec Pause - Twitch - Pause - etc.

In clear water I try to keep the pop pretty quiet, but use a noisier pop in murky water.

All the hollow plastics eventually take on water (a possible exception is the Snag Proof Weed Demon)

I much prefer the Sizmic Pop'n Toad. It's solid plastic, never takes on water, and POPS like a Pop-R 8-)

i have never fished it but i imagine you can probably use various retrieves and eventually catch one, so let the bass tell you how to fish it.

They are pretty good. I use them in areas with small weed patches/pads here and there. I don't really like them in the thick muck, because the popper type design tends to pick up some weeds. If I'm fishing the thick muck I prefer the original scumfrog http://www.scumfrog.com/scumfrog.html.

As for how to fish them popper scum frogs, its basiclly a pop pop pause, pop pause, pop pop pause etc. I'll pause them for a good 5-10secs, on the pause they tend to make a small turn, looks pretty seductive imo.

I don't know what you mean by them taking on water really fast, mine never really did that too badly. Every hollow frog seems to take on water, its just how quickly it does this. If it does this within 60secs then I don't use the frog, or I consider it a bad frog. The scumfrogs for me, do take on a little water, but it usually takes them a good 5mins on the water, and then you just squeeze it out, it doesn't even make the frog sink or anything. But maybe you got a defective frog, who knows. I prefer the original scumfrog to tell you the truth, so give that a shot and see what you think.

The scumfrog popper is good too though in those less weedy areas, it actually caught me my pb.
