Guide Recommendation for Black Bass on Grapevine

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a recommendation for a guide on Grapevine.  I've never been on the lake before and I'd like to take a trip.  I've been hearing good things about it.

Welcome aboard!

We have lots of Texans on board.

I'm sure they will have some

suggestions for you.

I don't know of any Bass guides who guide on Grapevine, The one's I know of are White Bass (Sand Bass), Crappie or Catfish guides. Guy Skinner is probably the best Crappie guide for that lake and I would recommend Omar Cotter for Sand Bass. I don't know where in Texas you are located, but there are a number of better Bass lakes within an hour of DFW.

I am leaving this afternoon for a week of fishing in the Arlington/Ft. Worth area if you want to hook up. Will be staying at my daughter's home in Arlington. I have been on the lake many times and you are welcome to my back seat. I plan on fishing Grapevine, Joe Pool, Arlington, and Ray Hubbard this week if you care to tag along.

Will be on the road this afternoon so will not have email access until Monday. Phone number is 281 224-8853 if interested.

Doing some prefishing so it will be serious work.
