who says the chinese can't make anything just as good as the japanese or us?as far as i know all the rods from the american classic series through the titanium series are made here.bps rods are made in china and lots of guys love them.

Unless it changed very recently, the only ones that were coming in on ship were the sub $50 classics.  As far as the rest of them go- the cork and seats go on at the blank facility and some are wrapped there and some go out to contract wrappers, locally.

Be American and Buy American...Hey GamblerOH, it's probably a big seller among the women over there!!lol

Oh rly? Where did the parts in the computer that you're using right now come from?!?

The twitchen bar is great and does add a lot of action.

Except for one custom all the rods  I fish are All Stars and Fenwicks, The All Stars are all made in Texas and the Fenwicks all in China Both products are well made and I am more than pleased with thier performance.

Buzzy rods have been around for a few years.    See them out in Texas alot.

I have seen demos and had one in my hands a few times.

I don't thinki its a gimmick considering we buy jigs with rattles or add rattles to certain baits trying to impart vibrations and noise to the bait.

What I have done for years is, with my left hsnd holding the reel, I place my fingers across the cork handle and tap with my fingers.

You know when some body is waiting on you and they are tapping their fingers on the table repeatedly, its the same technique on th cork handle.

Does the same thing.   As I lift a bait off bottom, I tap sending the same noise and vibrations down the line.

It maybe a gimmick, but is no different in buying jigs with rattles for the same principal.

    Been around for awhile.

Since this is a resurrected three year old thread, the "Buzzy" has been around for awhile.

Hard to believe anything like that would endure 3 years on the market.
