Toyota Texas Bass Classic Lake Conroe

Featured Replies

Has anyone looked into this or planning on going? Supposedly it's going to be Elite guys like KVD and Ike and others fishing against guys from the FLW tour. It should be a good tourney. Oct 16 - 18.

Well, since it's 26 miles from my front door I will be there. Going to be a big party. Lots of entertainment to go along with the fishing.

I have a couple of empty bedrooms if anyone needs a place to stay.

I for one will be there watching the leaders. I haven't had the best of luck there lately and am curious to see what the best in the world come up with after a few days practice. The PAA is the association putting it on and I believe Tim Horton is the Pres., so you can be pretty sure he is scheduled to appear. They award points to the FLW and BASS guys based on their individual trails and the other PAA tourneys (if any) they fish. (ex. KVD is in the top couple in points, but has not fished their tourneys) There will be some serious sticks there though for sure (45K for first, I believe)

Lake Conroe is 45 minutes from me.I wanna go but I got a fishing trip planned.Going to Fayette County lake for that weekend. There are some big bass in that lake.

A 15lb plus was pulled out of there earlier this year.  I live in conroe so I will probably show up.  Odd thing though, I have never fished lake conroe.

Not sure about three, but will make two for sure.

I've been hooked up to go today, but the dang lightening has me waiting at the house. It's bad as we speak.
