A good fishing net.

Featured Replies

I'm looking to get a new fishing net. I saw a Frabill fishing net on Joe Bucher's fishing show the other day, a Frabill Pro net. It wasn't deep, had a flat bottom and looked like it was made of hard rubber. Bucher was fishing with crank baits and I noticed none of the cranks got hung up in the net. Anyone used this net or have other ideas?

That is a good net another one is EGO nets.  What every one you buy get a rubber one.

I don't remember who made it anymore, but I have a rubber net and love it.I got it at wal-mart for about 20 bucks I think.

I have one of those Ego nets, and use it in my kayak.  I love it because it floats.  It is also a rubber net, those are the best by far.  No tangles or hooks in the net.

The only problem with the rubber nets is that they tend to be a little on the shallow side.

That said, I have netted some good sized fish with mine and they have yet to jump out of the net.
