Super User Redlinerobert Posted November 11, 2008 Super User Posted November 11, 2008 Water levels are really high. > Going to change the trip to end of February. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted November 11, 2008 Super User Posted November 11, 2008 Sorry about the bad luck. Quote
Jay_G Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 It is much better to re-schedule. I am glad they can get you into the lodge in January. Quote
vaparrothead Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Did you decide to postpone the trip or did your outfitter? I'm supposed to go in two weeks; hopefully the rain will let up before then Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted November 13, 2008 Author Super User Posted November 13, 2008 The outfitter gave me the option. We could have gone if we wanted to, but the catch rate has been pathetic. Try less than 20 fish for the entire lodge, all week. :-[ That is just one of the reasons I like these guys so much and continue to use them. They are ethical and even though it is lost revenue for them now, they completely have earned my business year in and year out. The first year I was going to go down there the same thing happened. They gave me notice and we rescheduled, we had one of the best experiences I've had in my trips down there. Quote

Definitely excellent business to allow a re-schedule. What is the difference in Feb. other than water level? Quote

It will be warmer I'm sure, this will be my first trip there in February. Quote
