I dont think you'd be looking at more than $3k total including flights.  I'm planning on gathering info soon so I'll post what I find after talking to someone there. 

What airport/s would you typically fly into?

We'd have to arrive in Mazatlan, and from there Anglers Inn has a bus that would take us to the lake. I'm also looking at the possiblity of chartering a plane that would take us right to the lodge. If it's too pricey then obviously that would be a no go.

I may be able to do November.  We'll have to see though.  As much as I'd want to just say screw it and book a flight, I've gotta keep a few other priorities ahead of it.

First thing.  Did you run the cost by her yet? 

Second thing.  If I ever decide to get married, I need a woman like that.

I quoted her the price on the website plus rough figuring on the flight.

ok boys. Just got off the phone with Marisol from Anglers Inn. She sounds hot.

5 nights, 4 days of fishing will run $1890. Arriving Nov 7th. Fish thru Friday then back to Mazatlan Saturday. I tentatively booked a group of 8.

You will have to get yourself to Mazatlan. Preferably Sunday the 6th. I may arrive Sunday or Saturday the 5th. I have 4 committed to my group already. I'll be looking at hotels to say at in Mazatlan.   

Deposit of 20% required 15 days from booking. 30% required in June. The other 50% required in September.

I also asked about safety. They have never had any issues of any sort either on the van ride to the lodge or at the lodge. Obviously, this is Mexico, so travel at your own risk guys. :-/

Nov 7th thru the 13th then,  I am in who do I give my money to for group rate, Eric maybe we can get a S. Florida group together.  Let's as some fellow forum members and other tree catchers  ;D.  Let's make it interesting chip in $100 or so buck each for big fish of the trip. 

That would be great if you and Eric could come together. We need then just need 2 more to make it 8 and were set.

Just confirmed with my group of 4 for the dates.

We're way early so hold onto yoru cash for now.  We wont be booking or sending in any monies til about April.  As of right now the Lodge is holding our spaces so we're square with them.

$100 in for big fish per person for the week works for me.  Fair warning....I've done that every year in Brazil, and my dad has won every single time. 

If I can make it, I'm in for 100 bucks on the big fish.  Thats no big deal.  I may have to buy another rod tube.  I've got a pair of them here, need to see how my rods will fit in them.  Aint going to be bringing any tiny rods with me.

Hell, two Roberts in the thread.  This may get confusing.

Robert-FLA:  That would be great if a few of us from down here can make it.  Would make that long flight over much more bearable with some people you know on it.

I'll know more in the next couple of months.  Everything hinges on how business goes right now.  Coming into my busy season right now.  Things have been really up and down this year.  Every time something seems like it's going great, theres been a big crash somewhere.  I'm all but separated from the first company I opened with a few partners.  My brother and I are probably going to go at it alone.  Things are "looking" good right now.  Time will tell though.  Thankfully theres plenty of advance time to plan right now.
