I was just checking another thread and got to thinking. Where are some good smallmouth spots in Maryland?

there is a creek in cumberland that has great bass fishing  its called wills creek  

Good old deep creek lake has great smallmouth action as well

uhh I forgot the name but it's about 10 minutes from whites ferry. Very good place for small mouth. Kill em on the rebel craw crankbaits.

Just about anywhere on what is considered the Upper Potomac has SM.

Went out a couple of weeks ago and got 3 big ones, my buddy got

2. The best smallmouth fishing is from Nolands ferry to landers.

The size of them is average(17-20). You go north and they get

smaller even though the water gets deeper. Using jig and pig

this time of year.

This time of year I would hit the warm water discharge at Dickerson Power Plant on the Upper Potomac River.
