Camping - Fishing - Boating

Featured Replies

Hi guys, Im just starting to get some plans together for the summer... Anyone have any great spots to check out... I want to be able to launch my Bass Tracker, fish, and camp with a camp fire... Any reccomended places?

Also, can I launch my boat in RI, or do I need a permit... the boat is registered in Mass..

Thank you for your time,

Jessica

There are a few campsites on the CT river

some of them are boat up only no driving

Hi Jessica,

Try lake Umbagog in Errol NH, right on the Maine/NH border. You can stay at paradise point cottages, or you can even rent remote islands for cheap money.

no permit needed just a RI fishing license

Geo. Washington camp ground and lake, on RT 44 Gloucester, RI on the CT line. Might have to get a fire permit too, from DEM. I almost forgot, its 9.9 HP as in most RI state waters.

Also look into Echo lake.

Bass Hole is correct, you don't need anything other than a RI license if your boat is currently registered in another state
