Hi, my name is Jason. I am new to the forum & from connecticut. I really haven't been fishing for all that long, but am now really getting the fever.  I am looking for some good bass fishing. Unfortunately, I do not have a boat yet, so keep that in mind if you respond. I'm in central CT. Is there anywhere you guys can suggest that is within an hour from me that produces quality, good sized bass? Thanks in advance.

hey you do not have to have boat to catch fish .keep fishing

you could try wachusett reservoir for smallies in MA. It has produced about half of MA's records.

or about 15 min away from there is a secret spot in the woods called Quinapoxet Reservoir, only way to get there is to walk along train tracks, look on google earth, its between the towns of princeton and holden
