Shoreline fishing in central MA?

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum and the area and I have a couple questions if anyone could answer them that would be greatly appreciated. I have gone to the Quabbin with good success, but the boat rentals are getting pricey. I am looking for some good shoreline fishing, preferably near UMass, but anywhere in central MA would be great. Thanks for the help.

Whitehall Pond/Reservoir in Hopkinton is supposed to have excellent shoreline fishing.  Either the town or the state owns most of the shoreline around the pond.

This will help you for your area.

The site for Whitehall:

well that's simple......wachusett res hold 4-5 different state records...and you wont be shoulder to shoulder with anybody
