mother load! take that bait monkey!

Featured Replies

About a month ago i went on BPS.com and made a "wish list". My birthday is tomorrow, and yesterday my fiance gave me my present. Just about every lure i had marked was in the box! i'm glad i resisted the bait monkey. i have so many new toys to try out now. i'm taking tomorrow off work to get started. happy spring everybody!

Love that wish list thing..  Even if ya don't end up buying the stuff from there, it's a great tool to help ya organize things when gearing up.  Gratz on the new gear!

Agreed, the wish list is awesome. Before every holiday, birthday, etc., I make a wish list then sound out the email to my family members and girlfriend. Since I've started doing that  a few years ago, every Christmas I get some sort of new combo that I wanted or gift cards to buy it. I haven't had to pay for a rod or reel in years. It's more of a "hint-hint" dropper than anything.

nice!

I once took a BPS catalogue and circled every size and color of everything on my list to make it fool proof.  All I got was a shirt and tie

i hope you get lots of good wear from your new threads... ;D i really should have marked a combo or 2. i'm down to a zebco spincast reel and a johnson 5'6" rod. all the new lures are going to end up costing me $!
