Thanks and thanks for the welcome llPa1nll. I fish out of an '89 16 foot deep V Tracker that my dad's had since new. Slap a new motor on her and new electronics and it becomes a great little fishing platform.

Landed 5 more on the tube tonight. They were taking the bait really weird. It was a very light take but then it was almost as if they were just swimming with the tube when you went to reel up tight. Made for some unsure hooksets which led to 4 additional fish jumping off.

I'll have to go back and read some of those old posts. Always looking for tips on how to put fish in the boat and new waters to fish!

Welcome Fmoore!!

Went out today on my parents river.

Caught 4 bass and 2 pickeral. largest bass was 2lbs 6oz

Really windy today, fish all came on spinnerbaits.

I've been trying to get a bite on a crankbait because conditions feel righ for it, but so far these fish just don't seem interested.

Nice Fish Wagn. We are gonna have to set some dates to get out on the water again. Tight lines all.

Just let me know when. I'd like to get out at least once more with you this year before everything freezes over.

Got it, How does Sunday look wagn?  :(

Actually not that good right now Pain. I've been home sick all week, finally am able to get into the doctor today. I'm pretty sure I won't be well enough to fish this weekend at all. I've got one hell of a cold, that's for sure.

Hope you can hook some.

Ok, I think I have thawed out enough to finally feel my finger tips to make a post from yesterday. So it was a terrible day weather wise yesterday, I did get out and tried to endure the elements. However my boat partner only made it 4hrs. The rain, sleet, and snow driven with that bitter wind was brutal. Boat control was pretty much an all out task to get us pointed to where we wanted to go. Spinning gear was useless in that strong of a wind. All of my bites came off reaction type baits. If you could burn it and it had a serious vibration odds are you'd get a bite. I ended up with 6 in 4yrs, considering the conditions I cant really complain. If any of you decided to go out how'd you do?

Did anyone get out this weekend? With this cold streak how much longer you guys planning to go out?

I have not been out in a while now.  :-/

Im going to try to get out tomorrow if possible.  I got out once last week as well and it dropped into the low 30's while I was on the water.  Got a couple though.  My times are limited to after work and that usually only leaves me a solid hour or so before dark.  Im going to keep at it until the water freezes.

Yeah, I have not had a chance to get out, but with the weather warming up for the next few days, I'm gonna get out there as much as possible before everything freezes.

Tight lines all!

Yea it was some tough fishing on Sunday with that weather. I boated 6 but I think if I just kept at it with those reaction type baits, I would have boated some more. I did but a fatal backlash in my swimbait rod. I am now going to have to think it over is it worth relining and using it again this fall or do I just strip the line of and wait for next season. The water temps were not that bad 47°F on the main part of the lake some of the back coves were in the lower 40s. Tight Lines all.

Hey guys gotta question for all of you. I noticed that a lot of you guys had a really good season of fishing. I started off in the spring and did well but then about midsummer i started doing horribly. I mainly fish in the Bennington, Peterborough, and Jaffrey areas. Do you guys think the the lakes in these areas are just not that productive for bass?? and where do you guys have most of your luck. I'm just trying to figure things out. I mean I was trying all different techniques and strategies all year and wasn't really getting any results.

i here theres great smallie fishing in those towns. what particular bodies of water are you fishing? the fishing slowed down for me too about a month back, but two weeks ago i went out twice and caught 13 fish one day and 11 the next. went out yesterday and got skunked. water was 56* two weeks ago. its now 47-49*. im hoping the fishing will pickup with this good weather. do you fish out of a boat? how far are you from greenfeild?

I got out with my buddy Matt yesterday.  We fished from about 2:00pm to 5:30pm.  It was a suprisingly good afternoon.  We caught fish in about 8 feet of water, and the water temp ranged from 52 to 55.  Most of my fish were caught on a green pumpkin KVD swim jig with a GY crawdad trailer.  Matt caught all of his fish on a 3" green pumpkin sticko and a black rip lip worm.  Most of my fish were caught around depth change warning markers, and most of Matt's fish were caught just off the shore.  No real patttern, but we each caught 6 fish and were psyched about it!

I don't normally tagret SMB. But yea I'm pretty close to Greenfield. The lakes and ponds that I have been to this year are: Powder Mill Pond (Hancock-Bennington), Gregg Lake (Antrim), Edward Macdowell Reservoir (Peterborough), Pleasant Pond (Francestown), Halfmoon Pond (Peterborough), Pool Pond (Rindge), Mountain Brook Reservoir (Jaffrey).

try zephyr pond in greenfield. we did good there a few months ago. the fishing has been slow lately for most of us.

Those are all awesome places to fish (I think the Halfmoon Pond you are talking about is in Hancock?).  Did you try fishing offshore structure once the summer got really hot?  I was having a lot of luck fishing deeper around depth changes with lizards on jig heads and senkos wacky style on a jig head.

I had good success at Highland lake. The 3rd cast was a +4lb bass 2-3yrs ago on a rock pile. I havent been back so I cant tell you how its been recently. Its a bigger body of water mostly shallow so it holds some fish. Also being out in the western part of the state id say the pressure isnt as high as it would be if it were say big island pond. I plan on getting out on Sunday hope the bite is good.
