Lucky BUM!    I guess I can't say much though, I have a boat ramp on the Potomac that's 5 minutes from my place.

1 fish, 2.75lbs on a jerkbait.

Had some fish follow a spoon and a couple miss the jerkbait right at the boat.

Very tough day.  Water temps around 44-45 all day long.

Johnnie Law also decided to show up and harass some folks.

OK guys lets here about it. How'd ya do?

Oh gee, let's see. Where to start? Got out of the truck a little before 7 and the air temp was about 26. Launched the boat and found the water temp was about 44.5 which wasn't that far off what SPEEDBEAD had found when he prefished it last weekend. Went to his first spot where he found fish last weekend and got nothing. Let me say, after seeing his side imaging unit he has, I gotta get me one of those! Anyone want to loan me about $2600?  ;D ;D ;D Headed across the lake then and marked some fish. Thought this is a good sign! Each of us had a hit there but couldn't hook up.  >  Stayed there for a good while but no other luck. Fished our way back to hit the stump line out from the ramp. SPEED got another hit but no takers again. Decided to call it a day at 2 after hearing a couple boats had limits.

Have I mentioned that I hate that place? LOL! Can I get an Amen SPEED???

My lack of response to the thread should be a good indicator of what I think of that place.   ;D

That was brutal.  The fact that it didnt get above freezing until about 11am didnt help matters either.

I honestly do not know how those guys consistently catch fish up there.  No clue.  We fished fast, we fished slow, we fished deep and shallow.  Nothing.

That place blows.

How many boats and fish caught?

We talked to a couple boats. There were 2 or 3 boats that had their limit (3) and at least one with 2 bass and another 1 or 2 that had 1 bass. We lefted before the weigh in so don't know anymore than that.

I think Randy was upset. I asked him for the results but he wont respond :'(

First welcome to THE boards!

These tournaments are an open team tournament. You don't have to be a member of the club to fish these.

SPEEDBEAD chime in if I'm wrong, I believe the guy that runs the tournaments (Paul, I believe) is in a club. You can talk to him if you're interested in joining a club.

Also jake, that posted on this thread, is a member of another club. He could probably help you out as well.
