Bream Master Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 I've just been trying to find a closer place to home for trout fishing and didn't find anything useful on search engines about trout streams in Alexander county (NC). Anyone else on here from around the same area that is willing to help? I'm near Caldwell county too if there is anything up that way. Thanks to all that reply. Cheers. Quote

DMB Fan Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 There are alot of streams through out the mountains. I've caught a few up around Table Rock in the Pisgah Nat. Forst. Try NCAngler.com they have a forum for fishing up in the mountins. Quote
FIRE Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Try fishing these areas but be on look out for heavy rain will get up in a hurry so watch water levels.Travel HWY 321 toward Blowing Rock and take right on to HWY 268.Travel this road and take left on Buffalo Cove Road and lot for pull offs this creek is stocked.Stay on road till you come to store on left take the left fork after store and travel to C.C.Camp Road pull across bridge and park somewhere.Walk creek that will follow road at times and if willing to walk to end is very large pool of water their. If any more info pm me with phone or personnel email.
