Just a little over 5 lbs to go for the world record.  It's in the Chesapeake Bay somewhere, I'm convinced of it!

With Virginia Tech and UVA football teams losing their bowl games.

With Virginia Tech and UVA basketball teams headed to the toilet.

It is about time we have something to be proud of in Virginia.

Even if it is a fish.

Rondef,

I saw the fish today at the Richmond Fishing Expo.

They have it in an ice chest on display.

Very, very large striper.

It resembled a big grooper.

That was one big fish!

It did look like a hawg in the picture.  It must have been a lot of fun to land him.

Very cool. Great fish!  8-)

I also saw the fish on display in a cooler at the expo, and man that thing is a beast!

WOW, when we catch one here in Lake Norman in NC and it's over 7 lbs we're fired up.  That beast would eat one of my good catches like a largemouth eats your everyday shad.  That is incredible.  Nice job angler, be proud of what you accomplished!
