But there isnt a ramp you drive the boat down into the water, right? I heard you have to carry it 100 yards, my boat is way to heavy for that far of a carry.

Well, it's not exactly 100 yards...maybe 30ft...atleast where we usually launch, the main problem is getting something heavy over those darn boulders they put in the way.

there is another place on the otherside, across from there simon, it's easier to carry a boat there but you still have to lift it 3-4 over a gate, you could push a skinnier under the gate i think, but the carry is still 50+ yards and my heavy *** boat was a CHALLENGE for 4 of us. If it's not a light jon that two people can carry don't even think about it, unless you have wheels.

Ahh I see, didn't know there was another place.  Why don't you give that other side a try? you can drive up pretty close to the water where we normally launch.  The walk isn't bad either it's just lifting something over the rocks about 2-4 ft but it sounds like you had to do that over a gate anyways.  With 4 people having trouble moving your boat I'm probably misjudging the size of your boat! I've only had to help carry Andrew's kayak.
