fishing reports

Featured Replies

I really wish we could go back to posting reports in the regional section. I'm all for trying new things but this really makes it more difficult to find the information I'm looking for. There are so many posts in the outing section now. Most are not labeled by region in the subject line therefore forcing you to read each post. Just my thoughts...

I forgot, are we allowed to post in here about the report? like just put a post in the SE section with a link to the report in the outting section? would that be acceptable? There's too much going on in the Outting section and I don't have the patience to sift through all the other reports.

Fishing reports

Howdy folks,

If you have a fishing report you wish to post, please do so in the "My Fishing Tournament or Outing" section.  That way, everyone can share your accomplishment.

Thanks!!

If you are letting the reports rule your fishing, you're missing the boat. Its the "should've been here yesterday" syndrome. Look in the reports for something deeper, and more meaningful to improve your fishing right now, not duplicate someone's results from yesterday. I am talking about phrases like, "I threw the jig to the laydown, and after the tenth pitch, she bit." Ten shots at a single laydown? Yep. It means slow down. That's what you should look for in a report.

That was not my point. The point is to make it as simple and effective as possible.

Make what simple and effective as possible?

It really is hard to abide by the guide lines but sometimes it is wise.

Gentlemen:

When you have a suggestion regarding "policy",

please send your comments directly to me or one

of the other Mods. I assure you, we always discuss

member suggestions which are sometimes implemented.

However, this issue has been decided as noted in

Glenn's thread and my post a few lines up. Further

discussion on the boards is unwarranted.
