I am coming to Kentucky lake/Lake barkley on the first week of may. its the first time for me coming to these lakes and was hoping for some suggestions on what to exspect, parts of the lakes to look at and where to start. I know there maybe beding fish but was hoping to may find something different??????????? Any advise will be appreciated. Also is there any other sights i should check out?

You'll find fish in the grass and on ledges, with current being the key.  I'm no expert ledge fisherman, but May can find the fish in all the likely places depending on water temps.
