naw we are only sending one boat to the big O so im going to fish murray states tournament on kentucky lake. first is guaranteed 2000 dollars so i figured it was worth a shot. i just wish i couldve had time to go and practice fish.

I wanted to fish that tournament too. Couldn't find somebody else that would commit for a whole weekend though. My thoughts are it's going to be tough. According to the lake report the water is a nice 41 degrees! They have been pulling a lot of water so it should be down and maybe it has cleared up some. Good luck to you buddy.

Cold, stained and slow. Another cold front moving

in today. I doubt you will run into much pressure

from the locals.

thats not what i like to hear but atleast it will give me a challenge. ill be honest this winter has killed me its been so brutal

The few minutes I got to fish on Sun. before boat problems I found a 50 degree water, but that was on the south part of the lake. Find flats, either main river or in the creeks. Rattle traps will find the fish then go back through them with something different. You might catch a lot of little ones, but there will be a few bigger fish mixed in.

One of my dad's friends caught an 8.4 the other day on the ledge of a flat with a jig. Any cover you can see, brush, stumps, crappie beds, docks there should be a few fish around. Alot of those docks have brush all around them that consistently hold fish.
