Hey, checking to see if anyone in here is in Newport News VA area or not.  I regulary fish NN res., Hardwood Mill, Marniers etc.  Want to see about trading fishing info.

Im in Gloucester fish at Beaver Dam most of the time. I heard they just reopened Mariner Museum in the last year or so....hows the fishing since they reopened?

The fishing is actually great!  I did two times, I think it has been open for two years, but anyhow.  The smallest fish caught was a 2+lber. (6 total caught that day, largest was in the 4lb. neighborhood)  SOME SERIOUS QUALITY FISH IN THERE!!!  Worth the drive from Glouscter ( I cant spell).  If you do go this summer send me a PM before hand and I will tell you what I know/learned from there.

619,  Have you fished, what is it Whitehurst lake, there by the Norfolk airport.  Looks great, but I heard it is shallow.

It is shallow, but hey bass love shallow. And there are tons of lilly pads when the weather warms, and they are fun to fish with a frog or some such

I live in Newport News.  I fish Chickahominy Lake and River, Little Creek reservoir in JCC, Diascund, Lee Hall, etc. 

I'm here in Poquoson, Wdy- hit NN Park for the first outing of the year last weekend and grabbed a few healthy Chains in the 2-3.5 lb range-no bass tho.....was still a great time!

im out in windsor but not to far from the newport news area... unfortunately whitehurst is closed for now... work on dam.. but smith is still open.. shoot me an email if you need some advice
