I just started throwng a frog again this past week. No luck yet but I have got a few on a buzzbait. Anyone having luck with it yet or is it too soon ?

Fished them in lily pads this weekend. A few strikes but no hook ups. Murky water must be messing with their vision.

I threw it at Aquia with no bites but they sure were hitting a swimmin jig and a spinnerbait!  Soft plastics pitched to holes in the grass was also very productive.

I hope it was their vision and not my crappy skills cuz I missed 8 or 9 blowups on my buzzbait on saturday evening. I did get two in the boat tho. Nothing like your first buzzbait fish of the year . Also the fluke has been working for me too. No fish on a swm jig for me yet this year

Good luck out there , its gonna be low tide by 7 or so. I fished mattawoman today, only caught 7 bass in 4 hours. My gf caught one but it was a lil over 3 pounds. I threw the frog a lil but not a single blowup. All my fish came on a spinnerbait today.

Grass is getting thick out there. I think I had a snakehead follow my frog. Didn't see it chasing, bit saw one cruising along the shore not even a minute later.

Had my first blow up this morning at a local pond before the storms arrived. I didn't get a good hook set but it was fun and awesome in the brief fight.

I got 4-5 hits in a few minutes at a local pond. couldnt land em though...
