9/26/10 another "picture" fish

Went fishing this a.m. with my normal Sunday fishing buddy. After breakfast, we headed to the pond, and we both had decided to try something a little different. I was throwing a Cavitron buzzbait, and he was throwing a Rage Tail Thumper. After nothing at our first stop we moved down the bank and on my 2nd cast there, literally inches in front of my feet as I was standing on the bank, bam had one miss it! Shortly afterwards had another miss and then all of the shad chasing and movement died down and the pond went slick...(see picture in everything else/pic of day)

Birds-nested the heck out of my buzzbait rod, so I set it down, and picked up the old fav worm!

Moved over a couple spots, caught a small one, kept moving to my favorite spot, and nothing much was going on! We were talking and as I cast out, not paying much attention, had a nice hit on the initial fall of my worm and missed it....darn! Moved around to a typically hard to get to spot, but since the water is so far down, I was able to walk around and on about the 5-6th cast BAM! I slow played him(?) in thinking it could be my "big bertha" I've been chasing, but shortly after it surfaced and I saw it was just a nice one! Landed it, took a pic, and successfully released another "picture" bass!
