There's the monthly on Saturday and also a big fish tourny, which is what I'll fish if I go.  Safe light till noon @ $15. Pays back 2 places.  Last year had 36 boats and 4.? ponds took 1st ;D ;D.  Sounds easy but weather can be a bit**.

Weather should be good this Saturday close to ideal, warming trend should turn on the BITE!  Too bad I am going duck then dove hunting in Okeechobee.

I'll let you know how I did, if I go.  Friday is going to be a long night and I have to work Saturday at 2pm.  I'd only get about 3 hours sleep.

I'm not fishing the tourny on Saturday.  My buddy went out today (Friday) and fished from south end Liesurville all the way to the PB canal.  Caught only 6.  Biggest came at 4points,3lb.  Two on pointers and rest on Senkos.

Yeah, when I saw the post SFl Native where he said 58 degrees I knew it was going to be tough no doubt. But I am obligated at this point. If anyone is out there stop and say hey I'll be in a yellow, white and black Triton.

Hope everyone had a great new years

Very windy today, it was 25mph out of the se in Boynton, I can attest to that first hand.

Well could not get a good bite going. Should have went to the alley. Water temp today 65 degrees. Could not understand why it was so tough.

Fished the big fish tourn on Sat. Tough day. 4.2 won it with a 3.3 second. Water was 58 in the AM rising to 59-60 in the afternoon.

I flipped start to finish. had 9 bites, caught seven fish, biggest being a 2.2. missed one good one that gave me a very large head shake after hook set. That one hurt.

Just curious which area you fished? Lake or canals? You don't need to give up your honey hole.

Thanks
