I don't think that ice skates use bearings....ba duh dum! :D. Thats sweet dude. Don't disregard it too quickly, it could be your ticket to an education. Congrats!

Keep your head up from now on.  Open ice hits are nasty.  Congrats on the offer man.

That's very cool!  8-) Congratulations.

An ol' friend of mine played ice hockey and got into blading for exercise. He said the main difference was in the stopping differences between roller versus ice blades.

Give it a shot. It can't hurt.

On scholarship? 8-)

Got to say, I had to look up to see that indeed Bama(Huntsville) had a hockey team. :o;)

Whodathunk! :)

no--its not for a scholarship its a club team--UAH has a ncaa team but this is for the university of alabama-- www.bamahockey.org

You should do fine. ;)

The only difference between Ice and Inline hockey is that Ice hurts more.

Of course, maybe this rule is just for me. I go really fast and dont know how to brake, so i have to run into someone before i stop. ;D ;D ;D

Oh, man, I am so jealous!  I played club hockey in college too, but I actually had to pay for ice time since we weren't really a part of the school.  If you're lucky, though, you'll get to play in Madison Square Garden once a year...made it all worth while.

Kepp your stick on the ice!
