The acoustic guitar that Pete played during the opening medley, came from Collings Guitars. My brother and his family are neighbors with the Collings. Last Thursday while at a fundraiser for the Dripping Springs HS jazz band, I got to meet another Collings craftsman that said that Pete had come to town the month before to pick up a guitar.

The Austin area got a dusting Tuesday night. Tuesday's high was 81 around 1pm. Then it was 41 by 5pm. I hate penguin weather. > Bright side is that bedders should start showing up on the power plant lakes. We'll see come Sunday! 8-)
