tom- ive never heared of that?

Go to the pharmacy and ask for Campho Phenique...It'll burn like hell but it works

I used to own a GNC store.  One of the natural remedies I recommended for cold sores or fever blisters was L-Lysine.  It's an amino acid that has an anti-viral effect.  Take any where from 1,000mg.- 3,000mg per day.  Split up the dosages.

It's best to take it by itself...or, at least, without any other protein.  See what you think!

If it's on the inside of your mouth get Zilactin (at the pharmacy) or Zilactin B as a second choice.  If it's on the outside of your mouth, Abreva is the only thing I have ever found to make cold sores go away faster.  If it's just a plain old canker sore, stick with the Zilactin.

Zilactin will make you cry  :'( upon application but if you can get through 30-40 seconds it will skin over and quit hurting.  It's good stuff though! ...lol

Yup, but no biggee.

herpicin-L will have it gone in about 3 days.   It's an over the counter chap stick looking tube but runs about $7.  Stuff is amazing,

People think i'm crazy for saying this, but, hold a big wad of chew over the sore.  Burns like hell but it will be feeling better immediately after.  Just put the chew on it for 15-20 minutes.  It really speeds the healing process
